Raised in Omaha, Nebraska my whole life, I attended primary school in Millard Public Schools. Later, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, which laid the foundation for my career in insurance and financial services.

I got my start right out of college at a local State Farm office, where I was first introduced to working directly advising clients and understanding real-world coverage needs. During this time, I held licenses in both Property and Casualty, as well as Life, Health, and Annuities.

I later spent over 10 years with Pacific Life, where I held my Series 6 license and focused primarily on training and leadership in their Retirement Solutions Division. That experience gave me a strong foundation in both the technical side of the industry and how to guide others in making informed, strategic decisions that met their long term goals.

Over time, that career path led me to opening our own independent agency, where we could serve clients with more flexibility and a broader range of options.

Even since childhood, I’ve been a serial entrepreneur from babysitting, craft businesses, side projects helping with websites and digital designs, and more. The most exciting endeavor outside of Acuhawk Insurance has been the founding of our Small Business Owners Alliance, a local networking community built to support and connect business owners through relationships, collaboration, and shared growth. I firmly believe in the importance of supporting local and enjoy supporting others in our entreprenurial commmunity.
